Each Fourth of July, the sky over Donner Lake comes alive as fireworks light up West End Beach—bringing together families, friends, and generations of locals and visitors to celebrate our community and our country. This beloved tradition is one of Truckee’s most iconic summer moments, drawing thousands of people to the shoreline for an unforgettable night of reflection, celebration, and connection.

Producing a safe, high-quality fireworks show comes at a significant cost. This year, we’re working to raise $40,000 to fully cover fireworks, safety measures, permits, and production expenses. Your donation—large or small—helps

Log in to 4th of July Fireworks at West End Beach or drop off a donation at the Rec Center 10981 Truckee Way or……hand your check to the staff and we will deliver to the Rec Center for you.
